Pinkard Construction, a leading general contractor in Colorado, announced today that its marketing team has won a Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Marketing Excellence Award (MEA) for its corporate rebrand. The award recognizes the best marketing practices and achievements in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry.
The rebrand, which was completed with assistance from Bluebird Branding and BrandSavvy, two Denver-based branding agencies, involved a complete overhaul of Pinkard's logo, website, collateral, signage and vehicle graphics. The new brand identity features bold and vibrant colors of purple and pink, reflecting Pinkard's history and values.

The rebrand also honors Pinkard's roots which include having a fleet of pink trucks back in 1962, when the company was founded by James W. Pinkard Sr. The pink trucks were a distinctive feature of Pinkard's operations for several years.
The SMPS MEA awards program is an annual competition that honors outstanding marketing campaigns and materials across various categories.
