Pinkard Construction has topped out Denver Housing Authority’s (DHA) $42 million Thrive affordable housing complex, designed by Shopworks Architecture.
Construction on the seven-story mixed-income development reached its peak earlier this week when the last roof truss was lifted into place. The 135-unit structure is a mix of two-story townhomes and one–five-bedroom multi-family units. The first two levels are podium parking with a concrete and metal stud structure, and the remaining five levels are fire-treated wood.
In addition to the 135 units, the project 20bet live casinowill have an amenities deck with a basketball court, outdoor gardens, an outdoor kitchen, and a custom playground. This project is part of the Denver Housing Authority’s redevelopment of the Sun Valley neighborhood, which includes over 400 units of housing, infrastructure improvements, commercial space, The Sun Valley People Center, and Grow Garden.

Once this project is complete, it will mark Pinkard’s 101st multi-family project, with more than 50 of those being HUD-funded projects. Pinkard is an expert in affordable housing, providing preconstruction services and aiding in the funding acquisitions phase.
